Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an iPhone screen repair take?
Most iPhone screens take 30 to 45 minutes, and that includes testing and sealing it back up.
Do you repair Android screens the same day?
Yes, but plan on 3 to 4 hours. The old panel comes off on a heat machine, the new one gets glued in, and it sits clamped while the adhesive cures. Rush that step and the screen can lift a month later.
Will I lose my data during a screen repair?
No. Your data doesn't live in the screen. Photos, apps and messages stay put.
Glass damage or display damage?
Two different repairs, two different prices. If the picture looks normal and touch works everywhere, it's probably just the glass. Coloured lines, a dim or tinted picture, black patches, dead pixels: that's the display itself. We'll tell you which one you've got before we quote.
Why Android takes longer than iPhone
An iPhone screen is held in with screws and connectors. It comes out clean, so it's a 30–45 minute job. Android OLED panels are glued to the frame. Heat it, lift it, clean the frame, new adhesive, clamp it, wait. That's the 3 to 4 hours.
